Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc seeks a strategic Game QA leader and presales powerhouse to architect bespoke QA solutions for top-tier studios, driving automation, CI/CD, and robust QA frameworks across AAA/AA titles.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, forecast staffing, define SLAs, and present readiness metrics to executives, enabling confident launch decisions. Remote work available; NY cannot perform this role.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Game QA with 3+ years in formal leadership roles.
• Presales or consulting experience, including designing custom QA solutions, presenting to external stakeholders, and closing high-value service agreements.
• Strong technical fluency in Unreal and Unity engine architectures, version control systems including Perforce and Git, and engineering pipelines to credibly advise on automation frameworks.
• Deep expertise in platform compliance requirements including PlayStation TRCs, Xbox TCRs, and Nintendo Lotcheck, with proven experience guiding clients through launch-readiness risks.
• Strong commercial acumen in project estimation, resource budgeting, and translating client game designs into concrete QA operational plans and scalable delivery models.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to align technical and business stakeholders around quality strategy, risk management, and delivery outcomes

Responsibilities

• Partner with business development teams to lead high-stakes client pitches, architect bespoke QA technical solutions, and draft precise Statements of Work for prospective game studio partners.
• Own the full discovery and onboarding phase for new client engagements, mapping engineering workflows, platform compliance needs, and automation requirements for seamless transition into active testing.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to game studios, auditing development pipelines and implementing automation, CI/CD integration, and risk-management strategies across diverse title portfolios.
• Forecast staffing models, establish SLAs, and optimize delivery frameworks for multi-disciplinary internal and external QA teams across AAA and AA engagements.
• Present data-driven QA readiness metrics, automation coverage, and compliance risks directly to studio executives and senior client stakeholders to support confident launch decisions.
• Identify business expansion opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to the long-term strategic direction and growth of the Game QA practice
