Job summary

Argo Group in Chicago is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead global FP&A, drive strategic and tactical planning, and develop an integrated performance framework.

The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a focus on operational excellence and investor communications. This is a 100% in-office position requiring on-site presence during standard hours.

Qualifications

• Proven property/casualty executive with experience leading the strategic design of financial information for a global P&C insurer.
• Strong finance, accounting and analytical background; Oracle ERP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication at senior leadership/board level; proven leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with capital investments, M&A, and business transfers/divestitures.
• Talent management track record and experience managing shared services.
• Undergraduate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor a sophisticated annual budget and rolling forecasts process with detailed financial assumptions.
• Oversee standard reports to analyze KPIs, provide insights for investors and external parties.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and technologies to enhance performance.
• Provide education and training on FP&A tools, reporting and project management.
