Job summary

Vaco by Highspring, based in Atlanta, GA, seeks an FP&A leader to own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will build advanced financial models, analyze performance drivers, and advise executives on actions to improve revenue, profitability, cash flow, and returns.

The role demands seven-plus years in FP&A or corporate finance, strong modeling skills, and experience in a large, complex organization. Public-company exposure is a plus; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• At least seven years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, or related experience.
• Strong corporate finance and FP&A foundation in a large, complex organization.
• Experience supporting both corporate finance and operational FP&A activities.
• Public-company experience preferred.
• Advanced financial modeling including three-statement modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company's annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Develop sophisticated financial models and scenario analyses to support enterprise-level strategic decisions.
• Partner with corporate and operational leaders to evaluate performance, identify key business drivers, and recommend actions to improve revenue, profitability, cash flow, and returns.
• Analyze results against budgets, forecasts, historical performance, and relevant benchmarks.
• Establish and maintain financial and operational KPIs that provide greater visibility into business performance.
• Prepare executive-level reporting that clearly communicates financial results, operating trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Support capital-allocation analysis involving acquisitions, capital expenditures, debt reduction, share repurchases, and other strategic uses of capital.
• Partner with Treasury and Capital Markets on liquidity, leverage, financial covenants, and capital-structure considerations.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations on earnings materials, investor presentations, financial guidance, and supporting analysis.
• Lead financial modeling and feasibility analysis for potential acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic investments.
• Support post-acquisition integration, synergy measurement, and performance tracking against investment expectations.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess potential business risks and opportunities.
• Identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes, reporting, systems, and analytical capabilities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team while strengthening financial acumen across the broader organization.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure financial plans support the company's strategic and operational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial modeling, or a related area.
• Strong corporate finance and FP&A foundation gained within a large, complex organization.
• Experience supporting both corporate finance and operational FP&A activities.
• Public-company experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including three-statement modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range planning.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Experience presenting financial information and recommendations to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, cash flow, and capital allocation.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience developing and mentoring finance professionals.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with OneStream, Hyperion, or a comparable financial planning system is beneficial.
• CPA, CFA, or another relevant professional designation is a plus.
