Job summary

The Prospector in Ridgefield, CT is seeking an experienced food and CPG operations leader to oversee day-to-day operations, connecting sales, manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, quality, food safety, fulfillment, and logistics into one coordinated function.

The Director of Operations & Supply Chain will lead systems, processes, and accountability to translate customer demand into safe, efficient, profitable production and timely delivery. This role supports Prospector Popcorn's growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in food manufacturing or CPG operations.
• Proven ability to lead multiple functional areas and drive compliance.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, labeling, traceability, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across sales, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, inventory, fulfillment and logistics.
• Set priorities, ownership, timelines, and performance expectations across departments.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable systems and SOPs.
• Partner with CEO and leadership to manage financial performance and capacity.
• Ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, and product traceability.
• Align production plans with demand, inventory, and customer commitments.
