Job summary

Jacob Bar Inc. in New York City is seeking a hands-on Director of Supply Chain to own end-to-end operations across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, freight, and fulfillment, with a focus on reliability, cost, and scalability.

This role requires building systems and processes in a growing food/CPG environment, leading production planning with contract manufacturers, managing supplier relationships, and driving inventory control and visibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain or operations leadership in a CPG company.
• Experience building supply-chain systems in growing businesses.
• Track record managing contract manufacturing, procurement, inventory, freight, and fulfillment.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing and logistics partners.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement and supplier relationships across ingredients and packaging.
• Lead production planning with contract manufacturers and schedules.
• Manage inventory systems, quantities, lots, and age.
• Oversee freight, fulfillment, and delivery performance for DTC and retail.
• Build supply-chain systems and processes in a growing business.
• Collaborate with Finance and Growth to translate forecasts into plans.
• Travel to manufacturing and logistics partners as needed.
• Work from the New York City office full-time.
