Job summary

The Food Source International, Inc. seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory and warehouse functions in our Exton, PA facility. You will align operations with growth, drive continuous improvement, and lead a hands-on, data-driven team.

This role reports to the VP of Finance and requires strong leadership in food manufacturing environments. Candidates should bring 7–10+ years of operations experience and 5+ years of leadership, with ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or related fields.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers, supervisors, or multiple teams.
• Experience leading manufacturing and/or supply chain operations in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, capacity planning.
• Experience driving productivity, cost, service, and operational improvements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and related systems.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and operational metrics.
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing, production, warehouse, inventory, and related operational functions.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth, profitability, customer service, quality, and capacity objectives.
• Ensure production is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with quality/food safety standards.
• Evaluate capacity, labor, equipment, materials, and constraints to ensure achievable production plans.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, waste, downtime, and recurring issues.
• Establish standardized processes, clear performance expectations, and accountability across operations.
• Ensure operational readiness for new products, increased volumes, and changes.
