Job summary

The Drake Oak Brook, Autograph Collection is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to lead the restaurant, bar and banquet operations. You will drive profitability, quality and guest satisfaction across all F&B outlets while cultivating an employee- and customer-centric culture.

Lead strategic planning, staffing, and menu development, ensuring high standards of service and sanitation in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

Some college and/or advanced training in food operations is required or preferred.
Prior hotel supervisory experience is preferred.
Culinary arts training is a plus.
Strong communication and budgeting/data analysis skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day to day operations of the F&B Department.
Drive sales and control costs to deliver optimum business results for all areas of accountability.
Maintain standards for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
Recruit, staff, schedule and retain employees.
Direct and participate in menu writing.
Ensure training on quality and service standards with proper tools and equipment.
Establish and achieve guest satisfaction goals.
Maintain set food and liquor costs.
Oversee all banquets including setup, preparation, cooking and serving.
Maintain floor presence during meal periods to ensure guest service.
