Job summary

Moultrie, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, seeks a Director of Verification to lead firmware verification and fleet management for field-deployed cameras. You will guide a two-pronged organization: a pre-release verification team validating subsystems and a fleet group monitoring field health, with goals to automate, extend coverage, and reduce cycle time.

You will translate design changes into test plans, build scalable automation (including CI/HIL), and ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in firmware verification, systems test engineering, or a related discipline for connected hardware or consumer electronics products.
• 4+ years directly leading verification or test engineering teams, including senior individual contributors and sub-teams with distinct functional ownership.
• Hands-on experience building or scaling test automation programs for embedded or firmware-based products, including CI pipeline integration and hardware-in-the-loop test infrastructure.
• Experience translating design changes into updated verification plans and holding teams accountable to them.
• Experience with cellular IoT firmware verification is a strong plus (LTE-M/NB-IoT, MQTT, retry logic).
