Job summary

Moultrie is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to own the full firmware lifecycle for our core consumer electronics, from bring-up to mass production. You will serve as the primary firmware authority between internal teams and external ODM/JDM partners, ensuring quality and readiness for end users.

This role demands hands-on design, scalable architecture, and tight collaboration with hardware, product, and cloud teams across time zones to deliver reliable, high-performance devices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in firmware/embedded software with consumer electronics.
• Strong RTOS and embedded Linux on low-power devices.
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, USB, BLE, WiFi, LTE.
• Ship firmware through full lifecycle, incl. production.
• Experience with ODM/JDM firmware partners and milestone testing.
• Able to evaluate third-party firmware quality and provide feedback.
• Excellent cross-time-zone communication with external teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware design and development for core products.
• Define scalable, reliable architecture for firmware.
• Own firmware release process across prototypes to mass production.
• Collaborate with ODM/JDM partners and ensure QA alignment.
• Coordinate with hardware and product teams on specs.
