Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent
• CPA license and/or CMA certification preferred
• 7+ years accounting experience, real estate/ multifamily preferred
• 3+ years leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge and real estate accounting principles
• Experience with Real Page, Yardi, MRI and advanced Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's financial system strategy to support objectives
• Lead implementation, enhancement, integration and maintenance of financial systems
• Oversee system upgrades and ensure successful adoption
• Manage financial reporting tools and improve data accuracy and efficiency
• Document governance standards and policies for financial systems
• Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close efforts with system insights
• Collaborate with Operations, Asset Management, IT and Business Systems
• Drive cross-functional change management and training
