Job summary

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences seeks a Director of Financial Aid to lead the office, ensuring compliance with federal Title IV and state regulations. You will oversee awarding, packaging, verification, and professional judgment, while guiding staff and coordinating with Enrollment Services, Finance, and registrar offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, education, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible financial aid, bursar operations, or student accounts experience with Title IV regulations.
• Experience training, guiding, or supervising others.
• Strong knowledge of Title IV regulations and federal/state programs.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs administration of federal Title IV, state, institutional, and private student aid programs.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, reporting, and university policy.
• Oversees awarding, packaging, and professional judgment decisions for aid.
• Serves as School Certifying Official and liaises with DOE and VA.
• Leads staff coaching, development, and performance management.
• Partner with multiple departments to optimize student financial workflows.
