Motion Recruitment is partnering with an automotive robotics company seeking a Head of Finance to build and lead the financial infrastructure from pilot to major scale‑up. You will own FP&A, controllership, treasury, compliance and investor reporting, while shaping processes and reporting for executive decisions.

This high‑impact role is designed as a path to CFO within 12–24 months; you’ll work closely with the Board, CEO, and investors to drive growth and professionalize the finance function.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in startups backed by venture capital or private equity.
• Relevant experience in hardware, robotics or manufacturing.
• Strong background in FP&A, controllership, treasury and financial operations.
• Formal accounting knowledge with CPA preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and board reporting.
• Direct interaction with Board-level stakeholders and board reporting.

A company in the automotive industry who isbuilding the future of tire changing and wheel servicing is hiring a Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time basis. The company leverages robotics, automation, computer vision, and intelligent hardware to reinvent automated service delivery. As the organization transitions from advanced R&D and pilot stage into a major commercial scale-up phase, they are seeking a finance leader to own the build-out of robust financial and reporting infrastructure. You’ll oversee financial operations, FP&A, controllership, treasury, compliance, and investor reporting.

This is a high-impact, succession-track opportunity designed as a path to CFO within 12–24 months. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance executive, comfortable with both building institutional-grade processes and engaging strategically with the Board, CEO, and investors. You’ll help shape and drive the next stage of growth: implementing world-class controllership, optimizing FP&A, developing treasury policy, professionalizing audit/tax/reporting, and enabling the company to scale rapidly and successfully.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience in venture- or PE-backed startups
• Relevant industry experience in hardware, robotics or manufacturing
• Strong background in FP&A, controllership, treasury, and financial operations
• Strong foundation in accounting (CPA strongly preferred)
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and board reporting
• Direct interaction with Board-level stakeholders, as well as board reporting and presentation

Desired Skills & Experience

• Active CPA (or equivalent national license) strongly preferred
