District Partners Llc seeks a Head of Finance & Accounting to lead the finance function, own accounting and reporting, and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO as the business grows.
You will build forecasting, FP&A, budgeting, dashboards, and scalable processes, while collaborating with executives and operations to drive profitability and growth. This is a long‑term leadership hire for a hands‑on finance leader.
District Partners has been engaged by a growing, privately held services organization seeking a Head of Finance & Accounting to lead its finance function and partner directly with the CEO. The company is entering its next stage of growth and is investing in the financial infrastructure, systems, reporting, and team needed to support a significantly larger organization over time. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can own the accounting function while also serving as a strategic and operational finance partner to the business.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable getting into the details and stepping back to see the bigger picture, from reviewing financials and managing cash to building forecasts, analyzing profitability, improving reporting, and advising leadership on key business decisions.
This is a high‑visibility role in a growing, performance‑driven organization. The successful candidate is hardworking, responsive, collaborative, and comfortable being deeply involved in the business. They bring ideas and solutions rather than simply reporting the numbers and can operate effectively with both executives and operational teams. The company is looking for someone who can become a trusted partner to the CEO, who is approachable and low‑ego, but confident enough to provide perspective, challenge assumptions, and help drive the business forward. This is also intended to be a long‑term leadership hire. The right person will have the desire and capacity to grow alongside the organization, building a more sophisticated finance function as the size and complexity of the business increase.
