Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Director of Technical Services to provide enterprise-level leadership for Field Engineering, Construction Technology, and Construction Data Analytics across four operating divisions.

The role works in a matrix organization with executive, division, and project leadership to standardize execution, adopt new technology, and improve project performance in industrial, power, civil, and water markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in industrial, power generation, and civil construction.
• Proven experience leading field engineering, technical services, or execution-support functions across multiple projects or divisions.
• Willingness to travel to project sites (approximately 1 week per month).

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for field engineers and project engineering resources across all divisions.
• Establish consistent field engineering standards, roles, and expectations.
• Support constructability reviews, work sequencing, temporary works concepts, and execution planning.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for field and project engineering challenges.
• Lead enterprise construction technology strategy (BIM/VDC, digital delivery tools, and execution-support systems).
• Provide leadership over construction data analytics, including dashboards and Power BI reporting.
