Job summary

United Staffing Associates seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering, maintenance, facilities, and asset operations for a premier hospitality property in Paso Robles. You will oversee preventive maintenance, capital projects, vendor relations, budgeting, and safety initiatives to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership in a multi-property environment, deep knowledge of HVAC, life-safety, and building systems, and the ability to manage complex projects with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in engineering, facilities management, or similar.
• Experience managing a large hospitality/property operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, building automation, life-safety systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and capital projects.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance, facilities, grounds, and building-system operations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate engineering team members.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of guestrooms, public spaces, pools, and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs and asset inventories.
• Plan and oversee renovations and capital improvement projects.
• Coordinate projects with vendors while minimizing disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, codes, and life-safety requirements.
