Job summary

Great Park Live in Irvine, CA seeks a Director of Events to be the sole director-level leader responsible for planning, execution, staffing, safety, production coordination, and daily operational oversight of PSQ’s events and venue operations.

This role provides strategic leadership, budget oversight, resource planning, and cross-functional alignment with FOH/BOH, security, artist relations, and public safety, ensuring venue readiness and an exceptional guest experience on-site.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience managing large-scale events.
• Strong safety protocols and compliance knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office and event management software.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on operational leadership before, during, and after events.
• Oversee staffing, safety, and labor compliance.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and post-event settlement.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and public safety.
• Lead site readiness, debriefs, and continuous improvement.
