Job summary

MSG in Las Vegas seeks a Director of Event Security to create a safe environment for employees and guests, while guiding security staff for all venue events. You will lead SOP development, incident reporting, investigations, and collaboration with internal teams and law enforcement.

Excellent leadership, budgeting, and strategic planning are required, along with experience in large entertainment settings and a track record of coordinating with executive teams and event production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years in security operations and management in large venues.
• Four-year degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field preferred.
• Ability to develop and execute SOPs and manage budgets and third-party contracts.
• Experience with CCTV, surveillance tech, and coordination with public safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SOPs, post orders, and security policies.
• Oversee incident reporting, event security plans, and summaries.
• Direct administrative tasks for security staff, training, and records.
• Lead security investigations and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Coordinate with venue leadership, production teams, and internal units.
• Manage security budget and staffing systems in collaboration with Finance.
• Collaborate with partners to optimize operations and budget outcomes.
• Build relationships with law enforcement, clients, and stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing security training and staff development programs.
• Coordinate with Threat Management units on security requirements.
