Job summary

BLOX LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Estimating & Preconstruction to lead the end-to-end estimating and preconstruction function for modular programs. You will drive margin integrity, develop and scale the team, and maintain the historical data infrastructure for accurate pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry, including 4+ years in Preconstruction and Estimating.
• Demonstrated accountability for estimating and preconstruction across programs totaling >$100M annual pursuit value.
• Proven ability to build, restructure, and right-size an estimating and preconstruction team.
• Proficient in estimating tech and preconstruction platforms; able to manage data and processes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own accuracy, integrity, and margin impact of preconstruction estimates across programs.
• Design, build, and restructure the Estimating & Preconstruction team as needed.
• Lead and supervise direct reports supporting preconstruction exercises.
• Refine and improve preconstruction workflows and standards for estimates.
• Develop and maintain estimating systems, templates, and data infrastructure.
• Lead pricing exercises end-to-end: subcontractor outreach, RFPs, pricing docs, and awards.
• Develop program risk analyses and elevate risks to leadership.
• Lead client-facing pricing and value engineering discussions.
