Job summary

Groupe Kardol seeks a strategic testing leader to mature the enterprise testing program across all business units, with a focus on C++ and embedded systems. You will define scalable QA approaches, lead QE/SDET teams, and collaborate with Software, DevOps, Architecture, and Product to raise quality, reliability, and delivery speed.

The role requires driving modern testing practices, overseeing CI/CD quality gates, and guiding automation without prescribing specific frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience building testing strategies for complex systems including C++ and embedded software.
• Proven leadership of Test Engineering or QE/SDET teams across multiple product areas.
• Ability to define testing frameworks and quality approaches without tying the org to specific tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, quality gates, and automation fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated traits: hungry, humble, and smart.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise-wide testing strategy and roadmap.
• Establish a test architecture covering unit, integration, system, e2e, performance, and reliability testing.
• Drive modern testing practices such as the Test Pyramid.
• Provide leadership across business units to elevate quality culture and engineering excellence.
• Guide automation principles and tooling direction without prescribing specific frameworks.
• Oversee CI/CD quality gates and ensure reliable, actionable test integration.
• Identify opportunities to introduce AI for test generation, prioritization, and failure analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Software, DevOps, Architecture, and Product teams.
