Job summary

AXON Networks seeks a Director of Product Line Management in Irvine, CA to own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of telecom enterprise services and network products. You will translate market needs into differentiated architectures, define pricing and launches, and lead a high‑performing team.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in telecom product leadership, experience launching Layer 2 switches, MEF services, and edge devices, and strong cross-functional influence to drive revenue and margins.

Qualifications

12+ years in product management or product line leadership in telecom, networking, or enterprise connectivity.
Record of launching and scaling physical networking products and related software/services.
Experience owning a product line business plan, revenue and margin performance, pricing and roadmap investment.

Responsibilities

Set multi-year portfolio strategy, market segmentation, pricing, packaging and revenue plan.
Lead end-to-end development of Layer 2 switching, Carrier Ethernet, NID/eNID, access, and edge products.
Build scalable enterprise services including Ethernet Private Line, E-LAN, DIA, and cloud connectivity.
Partner with Engineering on hardware, NOS/software, optics, telemetry and service‑assurance requirements.
Define positioning, sales plays, bundles, enablement, and adoption programs with Sales and Marketing.
Establish disciplined stage gates from discovery to end-of-sale and end-of-support.
Build and mentor a high-performing product line management team.
