Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA seeks a strategic Director of Network & Communications to lead design, security, and modernization of our enterprise connectivity across multiple sites, labs, and data centers. The role requires 10+ years in networking, 5+ years in leadership, and relevant certifications.

You will manage multimillion-dollar budgets and partner with Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Operations teams to enable digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive networking and telecommunications experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise infrastructure teams.
• Expertise in enterprise networking, routing and switching, SD-WAN, wireless infrastructure, cloud networking, telecommunications, and unified communications.
• Experience supporting large, multi-site organizations and managing significant operational and capital budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise network and communications strategy.
• Lead engineering and operations for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud networking, voice, and unified communications platforms.
• Ensure highly available, secure, and resilient connectivity supporting laboratories, patient service centers, corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, and Operations teams to support business growth and digital transformation.
• Drive network modernization, capacity planning, disaster recovery readiness, and carrier optimization initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, multimillion-dollar budgets, and enterprise telecommunications contracts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing network and communications teams.
