Job summary

VML, a global creative agency, is hiring a Managing Director, Delivery in New York to lead a multi‑discipline program for a major client. You will coach the program management team, manage dependencies, and drive governance across enterprise technology, product, and creative work.

You bring 12+ years of delivery leadership, hands-on SAFe experience, and a track record of driving profitable programs in regulated environments. The role offers a hybrid schedule with a four‑day in‑office expectation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in delivery/PMO or client leadership in agency/consulting.
• Hands-on SAFe evolution experience (Large Solution/Full).
• Enterprise/cross-track leadership on large, multi-disciplinary programs.
• Comfort with compliance-heavy delivery and government/federal environments.
• Financial and pricing discipline with defensible estimates.
• Vendor/partner management across multiple technology and platforms.
• Strong PM operations: meetings, next-steps, prioritization.
• Interest in applying AI to delivery tools.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Excel, Monday.com, Workday, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the program management team; align with Account, Strategy, Product, and Enterprise Solutions.
• Own enterprise, cross-track coordination; manage dependencies and roadmaps.
• Evolve SAFe practice from Essential to Large Solution/Full; enable governance and risk controls.
• Drive scope, pricing, and financials; ensure profitability and efficient resource use.
