Job summary

J.Crew in New York is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics to lead a high-performing BI team across the brand portfolio.

You will drive enterprise analytics strategy, governance, and data quality, partnering with Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to deliver data-driven insights at scale. The role covers cross-functional collaboration, agile delivery, vendor oversight, and evolving AI-enabled analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, BI, or related field.
• 8+ years in retail analytics/BI with enterprise BI solutions.
• Experience with SAP BW HANA, QlikView/Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects.
• 8+ years SQL, data integration, validation, and automated pipelines.
• 4+ years leading teams of analysts and managing workloads.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI and data modeling in Snowflake.
• Experience with Git-based version control and Agile backlogs.
• 1+ year architecting AI/LLM-powered analytics and dbt workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing BI team across brands (Madewell, J.Crew, J.Crew Factory).
• Define and drive the enterprise analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
• Champion data governance, quality, and cross-functional data stewardship.
