Job summary

Scanifly is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive the engineering department and foster collaboration across the organization. You will own the systems and guardrails that enable rapid, confident shipping and lead by example in coaching and developing the team.

You will identify efficiency improvements, dive into the codebase to stay connected with every workstream, and set clear metrics and goals to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong coaching and mentorship capabilities with a focus on psychological safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to set clear expectations and feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering department while fostering intentional collaboration company wide.
• Own the systems and guardrails that support shipping quickly and confidently.
• Identify opportunities to boost efficiency, streamline workflows, and bring forward smart solutions.
• Stay close to the work: dive into the code and maintain a clear view of every workstream.
• Set meaningful metrics and goals that drive productivity and measurable impact.
• Maintain consistency with 1:1s and team rituals while guiding the team through high-impact decisions and new opportunities as we evolve.
