DriveWealth is seeking a Director of Engineering to shape the vision and execution of our engineering organization. You will drive architecture for scalable, secure platforms and align initiatives with growth strategy, ensuring robustness and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor teams, lead cross-functional collaboration with product and operations, and promote agile practices while pursuing innovation like AI integration to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in engineering leadership, scaling teams in fast-paced environments.
• Deep knowledge of high-availability, scalable systems, including microservices, API-driven, and event-driven architectures.
• Containerization experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Brokerage experience in a B2B setting within financial services.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Innovative mindset balancing strategic vision with execution.
• Expertise in distributed systems and modern architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee scalable, secure systems using modern architectures.
• Lead solution architecture for multi-tenant brokerage platform components.
• Drive strategic vision and deliver across asset classes and features.
• Contribute to architecture framework, libraries, and developer tools.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI/automation in processes.
• Mentor and expand high-performing engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product/ops and senior leadership to deliver on schedule.
• Champion agile, CI/CD, automated testing, and 24x7 operations.
• Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies to reduce costs and improve reliability.
