Job summary

K Health in New York City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to champion technical excellence for a high-stakes portfolio of clinical AI and 24/7 virtual clinics serving the nation’s largest health systems.

You will architect a reliable, privacy-first product ecosystem, lead reusable components and resilient architectures, and ensure smooth patient interactions. This onsite role requires 4 days per week in NYC, with compensation ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 USD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building customer-facing products.
• Strong full-stack experience with Node/Typescript and JVM (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience building resilient APIs and GraphQL-driven middle layers.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect a unified product engineering strategy prioritizing modularity and resiliency.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of products from multi-platform clients to backend services.
• Define standards for performance, accessibility, and data privacy.
• Modernize systems with agentic AI tools to boost productivity.
• Build and maintain shared libraries and DSLs for rapid deployments.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote ownership.
