Job summary

Rnb Consultancy in San Francisco is seeking a senior engineering leader to turn a fast-growing AI startup into a real engineering organization. You will set technical direction, build a team of ~18 engineers, and stay hands-on in code while guiding architecture decisions.

You will hire engineers, define coding standards, and tackle the toughest technical challenges with company leadership. The role is on-site in San Francisco with visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• You were one of the first engineers at an AI company that grew fast.
• You still write code yourself while you design the architecture and lead people.
• You've recruited engineers and led technical decisions at meaningful scale.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Working from the San Francisco office five days a week, 9-9-6.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction for routing engine, agent framework, memory and performance.
• Hire engineers and set standards for code quality and reliability.
• Tackle the hardest technical problems with the CEO, COO and CPO.
• Remain hands-on in code while leading the team.
