Job summary

Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is seeking an experienced Manager, Applications Engineering to lead the End User Computing group within the Information Technology Department. This senior role owns the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of the firm's desktop environment and enterprise apps, with emphasis on Microsoft 365 and the legal tech stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• 7–10 years in desktop engineering or related.
• Experience managing a team of engineers.
• Expertise with Windows OS, Group Policy, Intune, and performance tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of desktop engineers and application analysts.
• Shape EUC roadmap in partnership with senior leadership.
• Manage full lifecycle of legal and business applications from deployment to end-of-life.
• Own Level 3 escalation resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and governance across the portfolio.
