Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. invites applications for a Director to lead the San Jose Emerging Tech Hub, guiding a multidisciplinary team and representing ADI in the Bay Area robotics ecosystem.

You will shape programs from opportunity definition through execution, work across business units, and drive external partnerships, customer engagement, and strategy execution. The role emphasizes technical credibility, people leadership, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders to accelerate innovation

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering, robotics, CS, physics, or related field.
• Significant experience in R&D, robotics, automation, AI, or systems engineering.
• Experience bridging research, prototyping, customer engagement, and early product development.
• Experience with startups, research labs, universities, or ecosystem partners.
• Experience in semiconductor/industrial automation/robotics sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the San Jose Emerging Tech Hub, manage the team and execute priorities.
• Represent ADI with startups, customers, and partners in Bay Area robotics.
• Develop customer-facing innovation programs shaping proof-of-capability work.
• Build external networks to source opportunities and partnerships.
• Align internal stakeholders across business units and Analog Garage.
• Translate strategy into portfolio of outreach, enablement, and co-creation.
• Guide technical direction across robotics, AI-enabled systems.
