Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Director to lead the San Jose Emerging Tech Hub, guiding a multidisciplinary team and representing ADI with startups, customers, and partners in the Bay Area robotics ecosystem.

The role focuses on translating emerging tech concepts into customer-ready solutions, de-risking technology, and driving cross-functional innovation programs to shape future growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Extensive background in R&D, robotics, AI, and systems engineering.
• Proven ability to lead programs bridging research, prototyping and customer engagement.
• Experience collaborating with startups, research labs, universities, and ecosystem partners.
• Background in semiconductor, robotics, industrial automation or related fields.
• Experience building and scaling cross-functional teams or innovation hubs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the San Jose Emerging Tech Hub, including people management and planning.
• Represent ADI across the Bay Area robotics ecosystem with partners and customers.
• Develop customer-facing innovation programs and prioritize opportunities.
• Build an external network to access early signals and partnerships.
• Coordinate across business units and sales to align priorities and accelerate execution.
• Define and evolve the Hub strategy into a portfolio of activities.
• Guide technical direction across robotics, AI-enabled systems, and automation programs.
• Scale hub capabilities with reusable concepts and de-risking activities.
• Establish governance and resource-planning for a scalable innovation pipeline.
• Communicate strategy and progress to senior leadership and advise on priorities.
