Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and providing direction for complex engineering systems.
• Design and development of embedded real-time software/firmware.
• Ability to mentor and develop technical personnel.
• Experience with C/C++ and modern embedded development tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a high-performing workforce through coaching, mentorship, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Establish the technical vision and strategic direction for the department, ensuring resources align with laboratory objectives.
• Direct software engineering to develop, release, and maintain software and firmware applications.

• Coordinate policies, processes, and standards for high-quality products.
