Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers onsite in Kohler, WI.

You will drive hardware architecture, coordinate cross‑functional updates, and guide product development from concept to production, while mentoring engineers and improving processes. You will report to the Director of Engineering- Electronics and Smart Technology, and contribute to the growth and evolution of the electronics group with hands‑on leadership and a clear focus on quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering is required.
10 years of electronics development in a concurrent engineering environment.
3+ years leading a team of electronics engineers.
Expertise in circuit design, schematic entry, and PCB layout tools.
Experience with MCUs, peripherals, features, and development environment; DFMEAs and simulation tools.
Knowledge of Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi technologies is desired.
Able to coordinate the efforts of multiple teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.

Responsibilities

Drive current and future hardware architecture.
Outline requirements and document feature specs.
Coordinate with engineering team and program management for technical updates.
Make strategic technical product decisions to improve embedded technologies delivery.
Provide team career development opportunities and ongoing feedback.
Inspire innovation and technical growth through hands‑on mentoring.
Manage the team to deliver products on time and on budget.
Coach the team and conduct performance reviews.
Participate in all phases of product development.
Collaborate with industrial designers, mechanical engineers and other engineers.
Own the electronics design process and continually enhance it to improve efficiency.
Manage contract development resources as needed.
