Job summary

Vax, a leading floorcare brand, seeks a Head of Electronics Engineering to lead the team building next‑generation electronics for consumers. You will own cost, performance and schedule across multiple products and report directly to senior leadership.

You will shape the electronics organization and influence strategic development across the business. You will mentor engineers, drive NPD from concept to volume, and communicate complex issues clearly to VP/SVP level while ensuring delivery targets

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading an electronics engineering team.
• Head of Electronics Engineering or Director of Electronics at senior level.
• Background in consumer product hardware such as appliances or power tools.
• Holistic knowledge of the NPD process from concept to volume.
• Ability to explain complex tech up to VP/SVP level.

• Lead the electronics team across multiple products, owning cost, performance and schedule on complex programmes.
• Direct and review technical work across projects, teaching engineers what analysis actually matters.
• Coach and mentor engineers through risk assessment, risk management and clear technical communication.
• Build the next layer of technical leadership within the team, not just deliver product.
• Frame technical trade off discussions and represent electronics clearly up to VP and SVP level.
