Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Head of Environmental Health & Safety to build and lead a comprehensive EHS function across manufacturing, lab, office, and international sites. This hands-on leadership role will set company-wide EHS strategy, standards, and systems while mentoring site EHS Managers to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience
• 3–5 years in a leadership role managing EHS professionals across multiple sites
• Deep working knowledge of OSHA and federal/state EHS regulations
• Experience with manufacturing, lab, or industrial environments
• Experience with incident investigations and regulatory inspections

Responsibilities

• Own EHS strategy, standards, and management system company-wide
• Hire, manage, and develop a team of site-level EHS Managers
• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations
• Lead safety programs for manufacturing, lab, cleanroom, and office spaces
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning
• Oversee hazardous materials management and environmental programs
• Collaborate with Facilities during site design and buildout
• Coordinate with Security/Export Control on EHS considerations
• Lead internal audits and regulatory inspections
• Manage EHS budget and headcount
• Report metrics to leadership and board
