Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental workplace conditions related to chemical exposure.
• Provide training for environmental compliance, worker safety, and lab safety.
• Serve as Chemical Hygiene Officer and Biosafety Committee member.
• Perform annual review and updates of health and safety policies.
• Manage OSHA programs and compliance training.
• Assist Facilities in obtaining permits and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene equipment program.
• Conduct safety inspections and oversee hazardous waste management.
• Respond to hazardous materials emergencies.
• Present risk and compliance information to senior staff as needed.
