Job summary

Harvard University Central Administration seeks an experienced EHS professional to support environmental health and safety programs across schools and departments in the Cambridge area. You will inspect, advise, and help implement safety plans and compliance tooling.

You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, develop program materials, and participate in emergency management and training activities as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in occupational safety, environmental science or related field or equivalent training.
• 2+ years of safety/EHS experience in industrial or institutional settings.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local safety and environmental regs.
• Excellent oral and written communication; training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as EHS liaison for schools/departments and implement EHS programs.
• Develop safety plans, SOPs, and guidance documents for compliance.
• Conduct inspections, investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver and develop EHS training and maintain records.
