Job Location: Boston, MA, United States

Position Type: Full-Time/Regular

Salary Grade: $188,100.00 - $225,700.00

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Boston University and Boston Medical Center comprehensive EHS programs supporting academic, research, and clinical operations.
• Manages Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Radiation Safety & Medical Physics, and Research Safety.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, promotes sustainability goals, and partners with academic, administrative, public safety, and campus planning & operations to foster a proactive safety culture across all campuses.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of direct experience with 8+ years of demonstrated leadership experience.
