Job summary

Del Valle Independent School District seeks a Director of Technical Services to partner with the CTO in designing and delivering complex technology initiatives across the district. You will lead technical staff, ensuring efficient IT operations and successful technology deployments aligned with district goals.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CETL, Google Certified Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Candidates must have a satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic technology management aligned with district goals.
• Lead the district’s mobile device management for ChromeOS and iOS.
• Oversee the 1:1 technology initiative and device management.
• Evaluate and adopt innovative technology solutions for educational objectives.
• Manage inventory of district technology assets and device check-in/out.
• Oversee technical support services and updates.
