SGS & Co seeks a Group Strategy Director, Commerce to guide the eCommerce Strategy practice across major retailers and marketplaces. You will lead a growing team, shape omnichannel strategies, and drive client impact while mentoring talent and supporting business development.

This role combines visionary leadership with hands-on delivery, building frameworks, and ensuring strategic excellence across all clients and categories.

Qualifications

10+ years in digital strategy with 4-5 years leading eCommerce initiatives.
Leadership experience mentoring and managing strategy teams.
Experience in CPG and Retail verticals.
Deep knowledge of major retailer platforms, SEO, PDP strategy, and content syndication tools.

Responsibilities

Define and scale strategic frameworks and toolkit standards for eCommerce clients.
Oversee strategy development across a portfolio of clients with consistent outputs.
Lead onboarding, training, and development plans to scale the team.
Stay ahead of marketplace changes and lead proprietary methodologies in eCommerce.
Partner with BD to translate client challenges into strategic solutions and growth.
