Job summary

U.S. Soccer seeks a Director of Donor Experiences & Hospitality to lead the strategy, development, and execution of donor experiences and VIP engagement, building on the FIFA World Cup 2026 legacy and positioning the Federation for future campaigns in a globally connected donor program.

This leader will transform donor experiences into a strategic fundraising platform, cultivating and retaining supporters while driving philanthropic revenue, and will manage a team responsible for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in advancement, fundraising, donor engagement, or donor experiences and hospitality.
• Experience generating philanthropic revenue through events and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor experiences and hospitality strategy aligned with fundraising priorities and a $250 million campaign.
• Build and lead the function, establish operating model and scalable systems.
• Hire, supervise, and develop a team of 2-3 direct reports and plan staffing for growth.
• Develop and execute an annual donor experiences strategy and calendar.
• Design and oversee a portfolio of donor experiences, including events and VIP engagements.
• Develop innovative donor experiences to support fundraising and future revenue.
• Position facilities as premier engagement destinations and leverage signature events.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure donor experiences support acquisition, cultivation, stewardship, and upgrades.
