Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation is seeking a Director, Donor Experiences & Hospitality to lead strategy and execution of donor experiences and VIP engagement. You will build a scalable program that supports a $250 million campaign and future World Cup initiatives.

The role requires steering a team, managing budgets, and partnering across Advancement and Federation departments to maximize philanthropic outcomes and donor retention.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive leadership in advancement, fundraising, donor engagement or hospitality.
• Experience generating philanthropic revenue through events and experiences.
• Ability to build strategy, systems, staffing model and measures of success for a growing function.
• Experience hiring, supervising, coaching, and developing professional staff.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives from concept to execution.
• Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive donor experiences and hospitality strategy aligned with fundraising priorities and the $250 million campaign.
• Build and lead the donor experiences function with operating model, roadmap, standards and scalable systems.
• Hire, supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 2–3 direct reports and plan future staffing needs.
• Develop annual donor experiences strategy and calendar for cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and upgrades.
• Design and oversee donor experiences, events, VIP engagements, and hospitality that strengthen philanthropic relationships.
• Create revenue-generating donor packages and experiences for major events and World Cups.
• Position the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center as a premier donor engagement destination.
• Collaborate with other teams to align donor experiences with acquisition, stewardship, and outcomes.
• Establish standards, procedures, budgets, vendor contracts and partnerships for donor experiences.
