Merck & Co., Inc. in West Point, PA is seeking a Director to lead the DMPK group, guiding mechanistic ADME studies and translational PK/PD to inform discovery decisions.

You will mentor scientists, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and shape strategy for discovery programs across modalities while advancing new technologies and delivery of high‑quality data to decision makers. This role requires deep DMPK expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering results to inform dose

Formación

• Experienced in providing DMPK support in drug discovery programs, including assessment of tractability and PK predictions.
• Able to integrate preclinical ADME, PK, and pharmacology data for translational PK/PD modeling.
• Knowledge of in silico approaches to support metabolism and exposure‑response decisions.
• Familiar with modern instrumentation in DMPK workflows.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and timely delivery under deadlines.
• At least 3 years’ experience with management or supervision of staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic, scientific, and operational leadership for a group of scientists in DMPK.
• Mentor staff and actively develop careers within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality data and docs.
• Support advancement of scientific and strategic initiatives with the DMPK organization.
• Set future strategy and implement new technologies in the department.
• Provide scientific oversight and thorough review of internal and external documents.
