Job summary

PLACE is seeking an Executive Director of Diligence to own client relationships with top Wall Street institutions and to deliver final diligence outcomes for loan portfolios. You will lead securitization compliance, authorize reliance letters, and serve as the primary liaison with rating agencies, while shaping Diligence strategy with leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mortgage diligence, QC, or capital markets diligence operations experience.
• Established relationships with Wall Street institutional investors and a preeminent reputation.
• Hands-on experience with Lauramac or equivalent third-party review platforms.
• Expertise in securitization requirements, SEC compliance, and rating agency guidelines.
• Experience authoring and delivering reliance letters accepted by major institutional investors.
• Proven track record managing high-volume, time-sensitive diligence engagements with elite clients.
• Tolerance for demanding hours and fast-moving deal cycles.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence in client calls and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship end-to-end with institutional investor clients across the full diligence lifecycle.
• Deliver final review and sign-off on diligence results for loan portfolios.
• Lead securitization compliance ensuring all diligence deliverables meet SEC and rating agency standards.
• Author and manage reliance letters for all client engagements.
• Interface with rating agencies as the primary liaison for Diligence.
• Support transaction management and contribute to deal execution as needed.
• Represent Diligence externally as the face of the business with institutional clients.
• Partner with leadership to shape strategy, capabilities, and market positioning.
