Job summary

EagleBank in Bethesda, MD seeks a strategic leader to grow its digital bank as a distinct line of business, accountable for strategy, operations, products, and financial performance.

You will scale the digital deposit franchise, define the business roadmap, and lead cross-functional teams in partnership with Marketing, IT, and finance to deliver a seamless digital experience under the EagleBank brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field; MBA/MA/MS preferred
• 10 years in banking, fintech, or financial services with leadership experience building or scaling a digital bank
• Proven success growing consumer or small business deposits through digital channels; P&L ownership
• Executive presence with ability to present strategy and resource needs to senior stakeholders
• Experience in regulated banking with knowledge of BSA/AML, consumer compliance, fraud, and operational risk
• Strong understanding of deposit pricing, segmentation, and liquidity economics
• Ability to evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and manage third-party vendors
• Growth-oriented mindset with digital acquisition and funnel optimization

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L accountability for the digital bank, including deposit growth and cost of funds
• Define and execute business strategy, pricing, and product set for the digital bank
• Lead product strategy and prioritization for affluent digital customers
• Partner with Marketing to develop acquisition campaigns and optimize funnel performance
• Set the technology roadmap with IT for onboarding, identity, and platform decisions
• Build and lead the operating team and scalable structure
• Establish board-level plan, monthly/quarterly reporting, and capital/resource visibility
