Job summary

Narmi is seeking a dynamic Head of Design in the NYC metro area who can both lead and contribute hands‑on. You will craft a compelling design vision across SaaS products, mentor a small team, and set scalable design processes that improve speed and quality.

You will partner with product, engineering, marketing, and sales to align design with go‑to‑market goals, recruit and develop talent, and advocate for user‑centred practices.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and lead design teams in SaaS or metric‑driven products.
• Experience shaping product strategy at an executive level and unifying stakeholders.
• Strong mentorship skills with a track record of developing design leaders.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating diverse design skills and thoughtful user research.
• Excellent collaboration with product, eng, marketing, sales and CS.

Responsibilities

• Design Vision & Strategy: shape a unified design vision across products.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: lead and grow a 3-5 person design team.
• Process Optimization: establish design processes, systems, and frameworks.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration: partner with product, eng, marketing, and sales.
