CMC Rescue, Inc. is seeking an experienced Design Engineering Manager to lead the development of innovative professional rescue products from concept to commercial launch.

Based at our Santa Barbara HQ, this role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management and cross-functional product development ownership. You will guide concept development, prototypes, verification and validation, design transfer, and launch readiness, ensuring safety, cost targets, quality, and schedule

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• 7–11+ years of progressive mechanical engineering and product development experience.
• At least 2–3 years of formal people leadership or engineering management.
• Experience with safety-critical or regulated products preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacture/assembly.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple development programs from opportunity definition through launch.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a growing team of engineers.
• Define product requirements, roadmaps, milestones, and budgets.
• Ensure designs are safe, reliable, manufacturable, and compliant.
