Salary Range

$156,000.00 - $234,000.00 per year.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across our US locations. Actual salary will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and specific geographic location.

Role Overview

As the Head of Delivery, AI Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that operations deliver training data (collection and annotation), adversarial testing, model evaluation services, and AI safety reviews meets the highest standards. You will drive thought leadership on project delivery, work closely with customers to define and deliver high-quality outputs, and oversee the development of new production protocols across projects. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on operations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our services are impactful for AI projects, primarily focused on Physical AI elements such as Robotics and world model development. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, deep expertise in operations and delivery for AI Services (such as producing training data via FTEs and freelancer models), and experience leading global teams. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and being in a constant state of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of AI services such as data collection and annotation, adversarial testing, and AI content safety moderation.
• Lead a global team of Operations Managers to oversee successful delivery of AI services to ensure on time and under budget deliveries that meet and exceed customer quality expectations.
• Partner with Sales Enablement and Business Development teams to scope, solution, and land proposals for new client opportunities.
• Design and oversee specialized operations protocols for multiple delivery models including leveraging full time employees in our global centers, remote workers, and freelance workers.
• Partner cross functionally with Quality, Training, PMO, Sales, and Product and Engineering teams to advance automation and evolve our ability to deliver high quality outcomes.
• Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
• Drive a culture of testing, iterating, and scaling processes, ensuring that all workflows are efficient and results-driven.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 7+ years of Operations leadership experience, ideally within an organization that provides HITL, RLHF and evaluation services to leading LLM developers, Mag7 companies, AV builders and Robotics companies.
• Deep understanding of how LLMs, Generative AI workflows, and multi-modal data structures (video, spatial, and sensor fusion) essential for the robotics ecosystem.
• You LOVE this stuff. You have a strong pov on the coolest and most useful AI tools on the market, and you love opening the hood and playing around.
• You have a deep understanding of large language models, generative AI workflows, and data structures.
• Strong interest and commitment to learning about the latest developments in Robotics and Physical AI technologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and global teams.
• Track record of managing teams in a high-velocity environment, with a focus on outcomes.
• Excited to tackle ambiguous problems with a relentless attitude of testing, iterating, and scaling solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
