Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Manager to lead our Data Self-Service Platform, directing the development of a production-grade self-service data solution used by engineering and analytics teams.

You will guide a full-stack team (React/Python) working with Snowflake, Kafka, and modern CI/CD practices, focusing on scalable architecture, observability, and stakeholder alignment. This role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and delivering impactful data tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership/management.
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python preferred).
• Strong communication skills for managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack applications and gRPC/REST API development.
• Experience managing containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Github).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and relational/cloud data platforms (Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Manage, mentor, and foster the professional growth of a team of software engineers.
• Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
• Serve as a bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
