Job summary

CVS Health is building a Data Self-Service Platform to modernize how teams access data. The Senior Manager will lead the engineering of a self-service data quality and AI-assisted analytics toolchain, enabling decentralized data ownership and faster insights.

You will mentor engineers, align technical efforts with business strategy, and ensure production-grade delivery with strong observability and scalable architecture across React, Python, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership track record.
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python preferred).
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack apps and API development.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
• Coordinate project planning, resources, and delivery timelines.
• Bridge engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and operational efficiency.
