Job summary

LSAC is seeking a Director of Data Privacy and Compliance to lead privacy strategy and program execution in a remote-capable role. You will collaborate with General Counsel and privacy teams to advance LSAC’s data protection posture.

The role emphasizes DSAR ownership, privacy platform implementation, and governance across data estates. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and privacy domain expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of records management, retention, and compliance experience.
• Experience with data classification policies and privacy controls.
• Experience with relational and unstructured data stores and platforms (Oracle, CosmoDB, Azure SQL).
• IAPP certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop data privacy and compliance strategies with Legal Counsel and privacy teams.
• Lead privacy initiatives across cross-functional teams and projects.
• Maintain Privacy Roadmap and oversee platform implementation.
• Own DSAR processes and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Support Data Governance policies and data handling practices.
• Oversee Data Inventory and Records Management retention practices.
• Create and maintain RO PA logs of processing activities.
• Deliver privacy program updates to senior management.
